Environment Policy Daikin Airconditioning Belgium
Preservation of the environment is a key priority for Daikin Air Conditioning Belgium. The management and staff of Daikin Air Conditioning Belgium N.V. commit itself to implement and maintain the following principles towards the 5 pillars: Air Heat Pump, Applied, Heating, Refrigeration and Services.
1. All Daikin A/C Belgium activities and services will meet legal requirements.
2. Active measures will be taken to prevent pollution: reducing consumption of electricity and water & supporting recycling and re-use principles & supporting the customers to get their certification in refrigeration.
3. Inform employees of the environmental impact of Daikin products, activities and services by training and information sessions.
4. Implement environmental initiatives – including environmental product improvements and business opportunities that contribute to sustaining and improving our environment – to our customers.
5. The EMS (Environmental Management System) will be audited periodically, in order to check and follow the implementation of actions, in achieving objectives and targets.
6. Keep a constant watch on our environmental performance and improve it continual.
7. Take actions to insure the safety on the workplace of the service engineers to prevent human injuries.
8. Communication of policy to all employees and subcontractors and availability of policy to the public.
